Power off when updating bios

I tried taking out the CMOS battery and replacing it but still nothing. One of the reasons that Bios updates should never be done in Windows. Insert the motherboard support DVD to the optical drive, or the USB flash drive containing the BIOS file to the USB port. The utility automatically checks the devices for the BIOS file.
What options do i have ahead of me to get it back up and running? Bios updates should only be done if that update directly addresses the particular problem (s) you are experiencing. If the Bios chip is removable, it can be replaced pretty easily. When found, the utility reads the BIOS file and starts flashing the corrupted BIOS file. Turn off the system after the utility completes the updating process and power on again. The system requires you to enter BIOS Setup to recover BIOS setting.
